My name is Sophia Viridiana van Kreuningen.

I was born in vibrant Mexico City and raised in the Netherlands, where I have been happily married to my best friend and the love of my life for more than 25 years. Together, we are the proud parents of two wonderful sons.

Love, connection and family have always been at the heart of my life. Perhaps that is why I feel so deeply connected to the role I now have the privilege of fulfilling as a wedding officiant.

During my years as a flight attendant with KLM, I learned how important it is to make people feel comfortable, seen and valued. Today, I bring those same qualities to every ceremony I create.

My Approach

Every wedding begins with a conversation.

Before making any decisions, I invite every couple to a complimentary discovery call. This gives us the opportunity to get to know one another, talk about your story and your plans, and discover whether we are the right fit.

A meaningful ceremony begins with a genuine connection.

Once we decide to move forward together, I take the time to truly get to know you. Through personal conversations, questionnaires and shared memories, I gather the details that make your relationship unique.

From these stories, I create a ceremony that is entirely your own. Warm, heartfelt and authentic, with the perfect balance of emotion, humour and meaning.

Why This Work Means So Much To Me

My own wedding taught me just how powerful a ceremony can be.

Shortly before our wedding day, I lost my beloved grandfather in Mexico. Our officiant found a beautiful way to honour his memory and make his presence felt during the ceremony. It was a moment I will never forget.

That experience inspired me to create the same warmth, connection and meaning for other couples. Because a ceremony is so much more than words. It is a moment that stays with you for a lifetime.
